This report is a section of the action plans for better knowledge: Action N°4 – Better Focus on the Protection and on the Improvement of Citizens’ Health. Current policy on air quality is mostly focused on avoidance of exceeding limit values. The aim of the current report is to propose a method to quantify the effects of air pollution on citizens’ health to facilitate a shift towards policy where health is a key feature to take into account.
