Description
EPA Ghana developed its comprehensive Air Quality Management Plan (AQMP) for the GAMA and Greater Accra Region as the next step in addressing these problems. The plan complements the National Development Planning Commission that seeks to encourage the Local Government to take up the developmental challenges of their jurisdiction and improve the lives of citizens. Key features of this plan include: (1) Baseline air quality characterization and projected emission trends; (2) Health burden estimates, (3) Source-specific and ambient air quality standards, (4) Air quality monitoring network, and (5) Detailed implementation plan
