Description
In Jakarta, grassroots initiatives in urban villages tackle air pollution through community workshops and air quality monitoring. Residents from nine kampungs collaborated with NGOs and air pollution experts to learn about the health impacts and sources of pollution, using low-cost sensors to gather real-time data. The workshops highlighted the disproportionate effects on marginalized groups and the necessity of inclusive, community-driven strategies to address air quality issues.
